A choice of cooked meals is available each day; these are free for pupils in Primary 1 to 5 and at a cost of £2.50 per ticket for those in P6 through to P7. A copy of the menu is distributed to new parents at the beginning of the year as part of the induction process. 

The latest School Meal Menu is on the School Meals Page on Moray Council website. Meals are to be paid for using the local authority cashless catering system. Parents access Ipay at home and can pay for lunches online. Pupils will register their lunch choice within the classroom every morning.

N:B In Scotland school meals can be free for some pupils, currently all P1-5 pupils. Read more about this here along with future developments

"All children are eligible for free school meals until they reach P6. There is no need to complete any paperwork for this benefit. Once your child reaches P6, they will no longer automatically receive a free school meal but you can make a claim.

The Scottish Government has made a commitment to extend the offer of free school meals to pupils in P6 and P7 whose families are in receipt of the Scottish Child Payment(SCP). Find out if you are eligible here.

Children who are eligible for free school meals will be credited with a daily allowance within the cashless catering system used in primary schools and in secondary school the child's NEC card will be credited with a daily allowance."  Source - Moray Council
